How Cision sells
Cision sells modules, and most buyers combine several of them:
- a media database of journalists and outlets,
- press release distribution (PR Newswire is part of Cision),
- media monitoring,
- analytics and reports.
Brandwatch is also part of Cision. The Brandwatch plans page links to “Brandwatch + Cision” solutions for global enterprises. So a social listening quote can come from the same sales team.

We read these figures on October 14, 2026. The range is wide because the module mix changes the price more than the team size does. A team that buys distribution only pays far less than a team that buys distribution, monitoring and the database.
Contract and renewal terms
Cision does not publish its subscription terms on its site. We found no public notice window. Read the renewal clause in your own order form before you sign, and ask the account manager to state the notice date in writing.
