Find the competitors of a SaaS company
Enter your website. We read your home page and name your category and your buyer. Then we list the companies that sell to the same buyer. We check each website live before it shows in your list.
What you get
A ranked list of rivals
8 to 10 companies, sorted by how close each one competes with you. Each rival has a line on what it sells and to whom.
A type for each rival
Each rival is direct, adjacent or emerging. The type tells you how often to watch it.
A watchlist you can use
Tick the rivals you want to track. Debriefing monitors them for you. You can also analyze any one of them for free.
How to find competitors of a SaaS company
Start with the words your buyer types into a search box. Search for your category, such as "sales call recording software", and note each vendor on the first two pages of results. Then search for "[your company] alternatives" and "[your closest rival] alternatives". Comparison pages and review sites such as G2 show the companies that buyers put side by side.
Next, ask the people who talk to buyers. Your sales team hears rival names on calls. Your notes on lost deals name the company that won. Your support team hears which tool a new customer used before.
Then sort the list. A competitive landscape groups rivals by how close they compete. A direct rival takes deals from you today. An adjacent rival takes budget from you. An emerging rival can grow into a direct rival.
How this competitor finder works
The tool does the first pass for you in about a minute. It reads your public home page and pricing page. A model names your category and your buyer, and proposes rivals. The tool adds the companies that Debriefing already tracks in your category.
Then the tool loads the website of each rival. A domain that does not answer, or that is parked for sale, never shows in your list. A second model call ranks the rivals from the text on their own home pages. Each rival in the result links to its website, so you can check it.
What to do with your competitor list
Pick the three direct rivals that come up most in your deals. Run the free competitor analysis on each one to get a SWOT and a sales battlecard. The competitor analysis guide covers the full process, step by step.
A rival can change its pricing or its positioning in any week. Competitive intelligence is the practice of tracking those changes and acting on them. To set up a program, read getting started with competitive intel. Debriefing watches your core competitors and sends a source-backed brief when something changes.

Frequently asked questions
Is the competitor finder free?
Yes. You need no account and no card. Each visitor can run a few searches an hour.
How does the tool find my competitors?
It reads your public home page and pricing page. A model names your category and your buyer, and lists companies that sell to that buyer. The tool adds the companies Debriefing already tracks in your category. Then it checks each website live and ranks the rivals that answer.
What is the difference between a direct, an adjacent and an emerging competitor?
A direct competitor sells the same kind of product to the same buyer. An adjacent competitor solves the same buyer problem with another kind of product, such as a suite with one part that competes. An emerging competitor is a newer company that moves into your category.
Why is a competitor I know not on the list?
The tool knows only your public pages and the companies it can check. A rival with a narrow niche or a new domain can be missing. Add it yourself when you set up monitoring in Debriefing.
How many competitors should I track?
Start with the three direct competitors that come up most in your deals. Check adjacent and emerging rivals less often. Add a rival to your core list when it starts to show up in deals.
Can I find the competitors of another company?
Yes. Enter the website of any SaaS company. The tool finds the rivals of that company. Use it to map a market before a sales call or an investor meeting.
Do you store the website I enter?
We keep each result for seven days, so a second search for the same website answers at once. We do not store your email or your IP address.
